Huobi’s Cryptocurrency Market Index added to Bloomberg Terminal

Huobi, international multi-language digital currency trading platform and exchange has announced that HB10 crypto market index will be provided by financial data firm Bloomberg on its terminal service.

According to the release published on Thursday, Huobi revealed that the users of  Bloomberg Terminal will now be able to access and track the overall performance of the top-10 cryptocurrencies that are traded on Huobi Pro.

According to CoinMarketCap, by trading volume, Huobi Pro is the third largest exchange in the world with international multi-language digital currency trading platform.

In the month of May Huobi launched HB10 index. The index utilizes weighted samples to track a pool of top-10 crypto assets traded on its platform in real-time against tether (USDT), a U.S. dollar-pegged cryptocurrency, depending on their liquidity and market capitalization.

An exchange-traded fund was launched right after the launch of the index. It uses the index as a benchmark to permit investors to invest in various unique assets instead of buying into just one at a time.

Along with the HB10, trading data of nine cryptos against USDT on its exchange will also be listed on Bloomberg Terminal which includes Bitcoin, Litecoin, bitcoin cash, Ethereum, Ethereum classic, XRP, dash, EOS, and Zcash, according to the announcement made Today by the Exchange.

It was last month Bloomberg listed a crypto index to its terminal through a collaboration with Galaxy Digital, a digital assets merchant bank.

According to reports, Bloomberg terminal tracks the prices of bitcoin, XRP, Litecoin and Ethereum using data from U.S. crypto exchanges.

Bloomberg Terminal

The Bloomberg Terminal is a computer software system provided by the financial data vendor Bloomberg L.P. that enables professionals in the financial service sector and other industries to access the Bloomberg Professional service through which users can monitor and analyze real-time financial market data and place trades on the electronic trading platform. The system also provides news, price quotes, and messaging across its proprietary secure network. It is well-known among the financial community for its black interface, which is not optimized for user experience but has become a recognizable trait of the service.
