Bitcoin Cash Association to support EatBCH in organizing food for the malnourished

Bitcoin Cash Association (BCA), on Wednesday, announced that they would send $1000 worth of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) monthly to two EatBCH campaigns in Venezuela and South Sudan.

According to the association, the amount will be shared between both the organizations to provide EatBCH crew a solid foundation that they can rely on.

Through these Bitcoin Cash donations, two EatBCH- associated groups would help people in both countries acquire food.

Every week, people in these countries are given nourishment quite a few times by the EatBCH team. BCA and Eatbch are working closely together and the latter says that they are aware of the difficulties the organizers are facing.

“Starting now the BCA will support the Eatbch initiative with $1000 per month in funding to go towards helping feed people that are most in need. The $1000 will be split evenly between the Venezuelan and South Sudanese parts of the project,” reads BCA’s announcement.

BCA is confident that many others would be directly impacted through these donations in Bitcoin Cash.

“We hope that this funding can provide a solid foundation that they can rely on. This will also have a direct impact on adoption in these areas, especially as the projects develop further relationships with suppliers that accept BCH as payment, and therefore aligns fully with our goal of global adoption,” BCA adds.

BCA also requests like-minded parties to take inputs from the funding so that BCH has can have a huge and direct impact on many lives. The association is happy to connect other organizations who want to be associated with Eatbch.

In order to have transparency with their finances, BCA has developed a plugin for Electron Cash, which in turn will reduce admin burden on these kinds of projects. The plugin will be an open source one for anyone to use.
